Description:

My research interest mainly focuses on three topics: 1) understanding which parameters (extrinsic and intrinsic) define the magnetic response (including heat dissipation) of magnetic nanoparticles under alternating magnetic fields, 2) the use of magnetic properties of magnetic nanoparticles for biomedical applications (hyperthermia mediated by magnetic nanoparticles, and biomolecular marker sensing), 3) development of instrumentation for advanced magnetic measurement ->  the Advanced Instrumentation Unit (https://sites.google.com/site/servinsimdeanano/home).
